Want to send your name to Mars? NASA is giving you the opportunity to send your name to Mars etched on a microchip fixed to the rover. The rover is scheduled to launch in July 2020.
You will also get a souvenir boarding pass which you can show off with your friends.

NASA will use an electron beam to stencil the submitted names onto a silicon chip with lines of text smaller than one-thousandth the width of a human hair (75 nanometers). At that size, more than a million names can be written on a single dime-sized microchip. The chip (or chips) will ride on the rover under a glass cover.
A final image of the chip will be put on Mars 2020 over homepage.
Over 6 million people have already booked their place to Mars.

STEP 2: Fill in your name
STEP 3: Country
STEP 4: Postal Code
STEP 5: E-mail address

That’s it! you are done… After filling out everything you will get a souvenir pass which looks like this…

You better hurry up because your boarding pass will earn you frequent flyer points which later can be exchanged for exciting gifts.
